Mobile trends shaping the travel landscape in 2017 What's next for mobile travel? What will travellers expect from their mobile services next year? What are the dominant trends that will shape the mobile travel landscape in 2017 and beyond?

It’s hard to believe that next year, 2017 will see the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, what a difference a decade makes! We live in a mobile culture that did not exist 10 years ago with mobile at the centre of how the world communicates and interacts. Mobile has changed everything.

In travel the mobile landscape has been transformed creating a huge array of new opportunities for travel companies to support, engage and empower their customers via sophisticated apps and mobile services, in fact it’s hard to imagine now that we ever travelled without a smartphone, tablet and for some, a smart watch.
